Nick Bentley is the founding member of House History. He read History at Cambridge University, England, where he developed his love of local history. Nick pursued his interest in buildings by practising in property law, and combines his experience in both fields when preparing House Histories.
Your House History comes in a beautiful presentation folder and is usually between 24 and 36 pages long. A house history makes an ideal present for a family, friend or loved one, and includes copies of maps, plans, illustrations, photographs, census returns and other archive material.
The history covers both the period before the house was built, including old maps and their schedules showing ownership and the use of the land on which your house was built, and the history of the house itself.
